Spot Healing Demo

Image
To remove the blemishes from the girl's face, I used the spot healing tool in Photoshop. I used the open bracket button on my keyboard to make the tool smaller, and I clicked away at her blemishes. I also removed her under-eye bags.

Crop and Straighten Example

Image
In order to crop and straighten this photo, I first opened up Photoshop and opened my photo. Then, I set the ratio to "square", and went to work decided where I'd like my crop to take place. Once I was decided, I hit the crop button again to finalize my crop. In order to straighten my photo, I hit the "straighten" button at the top bar of the crop section, and used my mouse to draw a line across the horizon. I then hit the crop button again to finalize my straightening.

About the Artist

Image
I believe that photos can carry powerful and compelling messages. I love to use art to express myself and to capture ideas, feelings, and moments in time. Some things that motivate me to create art are injustices I see happening in the world around me, and the wide-ranging outlets art provides that can be used to articulate your internal state within something tangible. I also love capturing people through photography, as I feel photos can capture a narrative.
